Roger C. Gagnon passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born on May 28, 1925 in New Haven. He was the son of Ludger and Eva Gagnon. Beside his parents, Roger was predeceased by his sister, Jeanette. Roger married Juliet Egazarian on February 1, 1947 and have been happily married for almost 70 years. He is survived by his wife, Juliet, a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Bernie McAloon of Southington and a son, Jeff of New Britain. Roger had 3 grandsons, Thomas McAloon, of Arizona, Peter McAloon of Southington, and Brett McAloon of Plantsville. Roger was a Navy Veteran which he served in WWII. Roger worked for Pratt & Whitney of Southington for 41 years as a Plating Supervisor. In his past time, Roger loved going to OTB and Race Tracks to bet on the horses and dogs. His favorite place to vacation was Old Orchard Beach Maine. Per his family, there will be no calling hours and a private service will be held.
