Lutz, Roger EugeneRoger Eugene Lutz was born on February 25, 1944 to Norman and Norma Lutz in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Roger was reunited with his loved ones in Heaven on May 15th, 2017 at the age of 73 with family by his side in Seattle, Washington. Roger was an extraordinary and selfless man, known for his integrity and compassion. A proud Veteran, Roger served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1964-1968. After that, Roger felt honored to have worn the badge of a Seattle Police Officer for 32 years. He lived for his family and cherished the many gatherings they spent together. He enjoyed time with friends sharing stories by the fire, fishing and hunting at his riverfront property in Naches. An avid poker player, Roger could play cards all night long and loved to teach others the game. Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Charlene; their daughters; Christy and her husband Dan; Renee and her husband Nathan; his four grandchildren; Kelsey, Jordyn, Chandler and Wyatt; his brothers; Gerry and his wife Karen; David and his wife Debi; his sisters; Cindy; Sondra and her husband Jerry; brother-in-law; Charlie, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Dawn Michele; parents Norman and Norma and brother Gary. His Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 22nd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at The Tahoma National Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to follow at The Vasa Park Ballroom in Bellevue at 4:00 p.m.In lieu of sending flowers to the family, please consider sending flowers to a loved one.
