ALBION — Roger Wolfe, age 74, of Albion, Ind., passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014, at 9:50 a.m. at Northridge Village in Albion, Ind. He was born on December 18, 1939, to Max and Bertha (Stangland) Wolfe in Kimmell, Indiana. On April 19, 1969, he married Martha Young. She survives. He graduated from Albion Jefferson High School in 1958 and went on to work on the family farm. He was a lifetime resident and enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Martha; four sons, Kevin Wolfe, Donald Wolfe, Randy Wolfe, and Dennis (Jennifer) Wolfe, all of Albion; two grandchildren, Joseph Wolfe and Latasha Lynn Wolfe; and four siblings, Jerry (Irene) Wolfe of Florida, Lew (Mary) Wolfe of Larwill, Indiana, Nancy (Rick) Rouch of Goshen, Indiana, and Al (Sharon) Wolfe of Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held in Mr. Wolfe's honor on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Merriam Christian Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Berna officiating. Burial will be in Thorn Cemetery in Ormas, Ind. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, April 17, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Ind., and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
