Brother Roland DriscollNotre Dame, INBrother Roland Driscoll (Graham), age 98, of Notre Dame, Indiana and formerly of Knoxville, TN, died Friday, October 28, 2016 at Holy Cross Village in Notre Dame, Indiana. He was born on February 8, 1918 to B. Leo and Nell Brennan Driscoll. He joined the order of the Holy Cross Brothers and spent his life as a high school teacher. He graduated from Notre Dame University in 1942. His longest teaching assignment was at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, where he taught and was also the Athletic Director for nineteen years. His last assignment was at Bishop David High School in Louisville, Kentucky for seven years. In 1981, he retired to Knoxville to help his sister care for their elderly mother until her death in 1985. He was also caregiver for her yard and flower gardens. Graham was an active member of Sacred Heart Cathedral for 25 years. He remained in Knoxville until 2006, when he returned to Notre Dame to live in the Holy Cross Brothers house on campus. Graham is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his sister, Julia D. Schriver of Knoxville; and fourteen nieces and nephews. His nephew, Father Ragan Schriver will preside at his Funeral Mass, which will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Notre Dame, Indiana. Online condolences may be sent to
