He is preceded in death by his father, mother, stepmother and brother. He is survived be his sister, seven children, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Roland was born on April 11, 1942, in Minnesota where he married and raised his children. He also lived in Kansas Texas, New Mexico and most recently Ohio. He was in New Mexico at the time of his passing.
Roland spent the last years of his life building new homes and renovating older homes in the Eaton and Lakengren, Ohio area. He was living a real life Monopoly game and would have had a few hotels if given more time.
Roland was a happy positive person who enjoyed life. He would tell me "life is wonderful, honey" no matter what was going on in his life. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
