Schwartz, Roman "Romey"Roman "Romey" Schwartz, 92, of Kankakee, formerly of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Presence Heritage Village in Kankakee. He was born on March 11, 1925 in Victoria, British Columbia, the son of Roman and Inez (Spencer) Schwartz.Roman enjoyed traveling and being outdoors and was known for his unique sense of humor. He loved spending time with family and close friends.He is survived by his wife Ruth Schwartz of Kankakee; six children Pam (Patrick) Kloskey of Milwaukee, WI, Sheryl Finley of Bradley, Mark (Susan) Schwartz of Greenfield, WI, Mary (Gary) Regnier of Bradley, Mathew (Peggy) Schwartz of Manteno and Joan Novak of Milwaukee, WI; one sister Lucille Cuthberson of Waukesha, WI; two brothers Peter (Sara) Schwartz of Fond du Lac, WI and Chuck (Emma) Schwartz of Fond du Lac, WI; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, previous wife Beverly, three sisters Shirley McDermott, Armela Moreno and Katie Juarez, four brothers Corky Schwartz, Greg Schwartz, Dennis Schwartz and Richard Schwartz and one son-in-law Tyrone Finley.Cremation rites have been accorded.
