Romona Sue PriceRomona Sue Price, 70, of Lafayette, IN, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at 10:18 p.m.  Romona was born on November 13, 1946 in Lafayette to the late James Mitchell and Bessie M. (Jacoby) Mitchell.  She graduated in 1964 from Clinton Prairie High School. She married Gerald Guinn, and they later divorced.  She then went on to marry Ken Maxson Sr., and he preceded her in death after 32 years of marriage.  She married Edward Price Sr. on February 17, 2001 in Pidgeon Forge, TN, and he survives.  Over the years, Romona worked for Home Hospital, Purdue University, SIA, Unity Healthcare, Hoffines Garage, and Kantz Automotive & Trailer.  She was a member of American Legion Post #11 Auxiliary, Eagles Lodge # 347 Auxiliary, active in various women's and mixed bowling leagues, enjoyed reading, computer games, and word search puzzles. Surviving along with her husband, Edward Price of Lafayette, are her children,  son, Greg (wife: Wendy) Maxson of Urbana, IL, son, Kenneth (wife: Jennifer)  Maxson, Jr. of Lafayette, step-son, Edward (wife: Christi) Price Jr. of West Lafayette, step-daughter, Elizabeth (husband: Denver)  Mason of Oxford, and 5 grandchildren, Drake Maxson, Ashlyn Maxson, Katlyn Pendleton Ashley (husband: Ryan) Johnson, and Megan Price, and 3 great grandchildren, Addison, Kaydence, and Grace Johnson. Romona was preceded in death by her 3 brothers, John, Jim, and Don Mitchell.  Services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Celebrant Theresa Fischer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Battle Ground Cemetery, Battle Ground, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Natalie's Second Chance Shelter.  Simplicity Funeral Care entrusted with care.  Share memories and condolences at www.simplicity-funeralcare.com.
