Ron FacerJune 6, 1950 - August 8, 2015Ronald "Ron" Fay Facer, of Grace, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.Ron was born on June 6, 1950 in Pocatello, Idaho the son of James LaVoy and Velma Lea Beardsly Facer. He had lived in Pocatello, Clayton, Soda Springs and Grace. Ron married Linda Lee Call "the light of his life" on February 21, 1970 in Pocatello, Idaho.He helped many years with Hunter Safety, Search and Rescue, E.M.T. and had been a Scout Leader. He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, hunting, camping, taxidermy and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ron had worked for the City of Grace, and had retired from Monsanto. He also owned and operated his own business, Sheep Rock Taxidermy.He is survived by his wife, Linda Lee Facer of Grace, ID, two sons and one daughter, Monte LaVoy Facer of Pocatello, ID, John Jacobson of Nampa, ID, Heather Lee Facer of Pocatello, ID. He is also survived by two brothers, James Delbert Facer and Dennis Lynn Facer and a sister, Lalia Wilson, and grandchildren, Zachary Ron, Emilee Jean, Sarah Elizabeth, Briar Kelly, Baylie Facer , Marie Anne, Jessop, Preston, Karlie, Kalob, Jennifer Ellen, Katelynn Faith, Seth James, Bridger and Kohen. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, John Wilson.Here's to the man that drank water instead of whiskey. Here's to the man that went for a hike instead of a drive. here's to the man that taught me not just to live but thrive. He's the man that taught me to love beards. He's the man that helped teach me to play. He's the man who loved without condition. He's the man who loved family above all else. he's the man who would drop anything to help and rescue a friend. He's the man who showed us all how to really live and what true character and integrity is all about.
