Ron PoirierAugust 12, 1946August 11, 2017Ron Poirier of Carson City, NV passed away on Friday, August 11th, 2017 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 12th, 1946 in Lewiston, ME to Chuck & Ida Poirier. Ron's work brought him and his family to Carson City in 1988 where he resided ever since. Ron proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid softball player and golfer, his love for the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots unwavering, just like his love for his family. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his grand daughter Jessica Asselin. He is survived by his wife Pat Poirier of Carson City, NV, his son Chris Poirier (wife Tracy) of Lewiston, ME, daughter Brandi McCombs (husband Jamie) of Sparks, NV, daughter Kelly Wilder (husband Garrish) of Lisbon Falls, ME, daughter Tessa Grundy (husband Jonathon) of Carson City, NV, along with 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Autumn Funerals & Cremations in Carson City, NV.
