Rona is family, but more than that she has always been one of my many role models from Gibson. She was an educated, women of color, business owner at a young age and because of her ambition and accomplishments, I believed I could do it and I did. I didn’t know how much she influenced me until I heard of her passing. I always admired her smile and warmth. I pray God comforts her daughters and husband, along with her mom, sisters, & extended family. We can only move forward and hope that our smiles light up rooms like Rona’s did.

Ms. Rona helped me get my SLPA license and gave me my first job out of college. Five years later, I still attribute my career growth to her. When I finished grad school, I thought of her and celebrated with her in spirit. I have so many stories from my job at A+ Speech Therapy.
