We are gathered to mourn the passing of Ronald Copeland, who was born on January 7th, 1949 and passed away peacefully at home on May 18th, 2024 in his hometown Akron, Ohio.
Ronald was a loving husband to Shirley Copeland, whom he married in 1974. Together, they raised six wonderful children: Timothy Copeland, Jewel Helsel, Shelly Wigginton, Nichole Wright, Ashley Oliver, and Amy Hurst. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Virginia and Alan Copeland. Along with his children Ronald leaves behind his grandchildren (Matthew Hurst, Willow Hurst, Rebecca McDaniel, Tristan Wigginton, Elisabeth Wigginton, Lucas Young) and great-grandchildren (Colton Moore, Casey Helsel, Max Helsel).
Throughout his life, Ronald was known for his kind heart, strong spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home on May 22nd, 2024 at 3pm, all are welcome to come celebrate the life of Ron as we go through this journey of grief together.
