Ronald Brice LeachmanADAMSVILLE: Ronald Brice Leachman, 87 of Adamsville, OH died at 2:05 PM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Zanesville Health & Rehab Center surrounded by his family. He was born on the family farm May 7, 1929 near Adamsville the son of the late Delmas Charles and Gertrude Annette (Stockum) Leachman. Ron lived in his family's home near Adamsville his entire life. The house he lived in with his wife Kathleen has been in the Leachman family for over 135 years. He was an avid sports fan, a "man of all seasons", he never knew a stranger, Ron was a member of the Farm Bureau and a lifetime member of the Salem United Methodist Church where he served as custodian and grounds keeper, treasurer, and secretary. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Robinson Leachman, Four Sons: Bryce (Paula) Leachman of New Albany, Ken (Lee Anne) Leachman of Worthington, Dale (Mary Ann) Leachman of Ostrander, and Karl (Susan) Leachman of Norwich 17 Grandchildren, 19 Great-grandchildren; a sister Mary Alice Brock of Reynoldsburg, a sister-in-law Nancy (Williams) Robinson of Cambridge, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. where Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, Pastor Roger Morrow will be officiating and Wayne Hogue will be assisting. Burial will conclude at the Salem Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salem United Methodist Church in Ron's memory.
