LAGRANGE — Ronald Charles Kuehner, 61, of LaGrange, Ind., died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Ind. Mr. Kuehner was born on January 23, 1953, in Ft. Wayne to Joseph B. and Elnore (Wyneken) Kuehner. In 2006, he moved to LaGrange from Columbia City, Ind. He worked as a machine operator for Dana Corporation in Columbia City for many years. Ron enjoyed fishing and camping and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. He loved anything that was fast and had built several race cars. On May 24, 1973, he married Clara Hope Kuehner. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2002. On July 1, 2011, he married Bonnie L. (Reffett) Combs; she survives in LaGrange, Ind. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Robert McCullough of LaGrange, Ind.; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Renita Kuehner of McClure, Ohio; two stepsons, Brandon Combs of LaGrange, Ind., and Ben Combs of Indianapolis, Ind.; eight grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Merideth of Columbia City, Ind.; and two brothers, Tom Kuehner of Columbia City, Ind., and Don Kuehner of Fort Wayne, Ind. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Bill, Dave and Ed Kuehner. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, Ind., with the Rev. Brian Van Osdol officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, Ind.
