BUTLER — Ronald "Ron" Jeffrey Czaja, 64, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at DeKalb Health in Auburn. Ron was born on July 31, 1949, in Kingston, Pa., to the late Thaddeus Frank and Agnes Louise (Shonk) Czaja. He was a Vietnam veteran. On February 24, 1979, he married Sandra Alane Rucker at the Newville United Methodist Church and she survives. Ron was a tool and die maker and worked at Universal Tool in Butler, Nucor in St. Joe, and finally at Bohn (Citation) in Butler. He loved playing the guitar, art, fishing, playing horseshoes, his family and his dogs. Survivors include his wife, Sandra; a son, Bradley Stephen Czaja of Butler; two daughters, Stephanie Nichole Czaja of Butler and Tonya Mae Louise (Nicholas) Patrick of Butler; two brothers, Joe Czaja of Butler and Larry Czaja of Muncie, Ind.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Czaja. Services and visitation will be held at Krill Funeral Home, 114 E. Hull St., Edgerton, Ohio. Services will be Thursday, April 24, 2014, at 11 a.m., with calling 1 hour prior to the service. Father David Cirata of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edgerton will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery, Butler, Indiana. Visitation is today, Wednesday, April 23, 2014, from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to the Johnson Funeral Home in Butler to help with the funeral bill. H.E.
