Ronald D. Copper, IIAge: 57 • Churchville, VARonald Dee "R.D." Copper, II, 57, husband of Heidi (Woolstenhulme) Copper of 138 Crestwood Drive passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at his residence.Mr. Copper was born on July 5, 1959 in Staunton, Virginia, a son of the late Carol Jean (McCray) Copper. R.D. was employed by C.V.R. in the delivery and maintenance department, he was a member of the Verona Moose Lodge # 2172 and he enjoyed helping the area Boy Scout Troops with their chicken bar-b-que fund raisers. R.D. enjoyed life, he was an avid NASCAR fan, liked to hunt, fish, camp and especially spending time at the beach with his family and friends.In addition to his mother, Mr. Copper was preceded in death by a brother, Boyd Lamont Copper. Surviving in addition to his wife of twenty-three years, is a sister, Tammy L. Hostetter and her husband Robbie of Staunton; a special cousin, Melody Beisner of Ruckersville; and his pet lab, Kona.A memorial service will be held at a later date.It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the , South Atlantic Division, 1445 East Rio Road, Suite 104, Charlottesville, Virginia 22901.Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive is charge of his arrangements.Condolences may be expressed to the family online www.coffmanfuneral
