Ronald D. HueberBorn: December 19, 1957Died: December 2, 2016Ronald D. Hueber, 58, of Creston, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2016.He was born on December 19, 1957 in DeKalb, IL, the son of Roger and Marcia (Male) Hueber. Ronald was raised on the family farm with his three siblings in northwest Malta. He graduated from Malta High School in 1976, farmed with his dad and brother, Rodney for many years, and was later employed by DeK-Co Drainage and Hueber LLC where he drove a bulk feed delivery truck.Ronald was united in marriage on June 26, 1993 to Joanne Willrett Uttecht. He helped raise his three step-children, Michael, Rebecca and Molly Uttecht, along with the couple's daughter, Emily who was born in 1995. Emily was the light of his life. As an avid outdoorsman, Ronald enjoyed hunting and fishing with his many good friends, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also loved spending time in Canada every summer with family and friends at his dear friend, Steve Sandberg's fishing cabin. Ronald was well known for his enthusiastic story-telling, his great sense of humor, and his generosity and willingness to help others. He was a life-long member of Northwest Malta United Methodist Church, and a member of the DeKalb County Farm Bureau.Ronald is survived by his wife, Joanne of Creston, IL; his daughter, Emily Hueber of Creston IL; and his step-children, Michael Uttecht of Scarboro, IL, Rebecca (Ryan) Piquett of DeKalb, IL, Molly Uttecht of Springfield, IL;his five grandchildren; his mother, Marcia Hueber of Malta, IL; his siblings: Rodney (Mary Lou) Hueber of Malta,IL, Rita (Larry) Nass of Rochelle, IL and Robert (Shelley) Hueber of DeKalb, IL; his mother-in-law, Hope Willrettof Malta, IL; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Roger Hueber.Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home, 2011 South 4th Street, DeKalb, IL on Wednesday, December 7th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Malta United Methodist Church, Third and Sprague Streets, Malta, IL on Thursday, December 8th at 11:00 a.m.In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are being accepted to support his daughter, Emily's continued education.For information, visit
