Ronald E. O'NeillNaples, FLRonald E. O'Neill 79 of Naples died Thursday December 15, 2016. He was born on June 24, 1937 in Kingston, PA a son of the late Edward and Irene Foliewski O'Neill.Ron served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959. He worked as a salesman, selling insurance products. He never met a stranger, was always quick with a joke or had a story to tell. Ron loved his wife of 53 1/2 years tremendously and affectionately called her "his bride". Ron's friendships were very important to him, many of which spanned decades. He was a mans man who enjoyed a good game of cards, watching any sport on tv, and stopping by the local pub to hear stories, tell a joke or to say hello. Ron was always there for his children and that dedication continued on to his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife Eleanor Savino O'Neill; daughter Maureen A. (Jim) Dixon of Savannah, GA; son Edward J. (Kristin) O'Neill of Bonita Springs; and 5 grandchildren Ashton E. Johnson, Noah S. Johnson, J.B. Dixon, Connor E. O'Neill and Madison A.
