Bella, Ronald J.Ronald J. Bella, 61 of Stevens Point passed away Tuesday August 8, 2017, at Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was born on February 10, 1956 in Stevens Point. He is the son of Elizabeth (Swiander) Bella and the late Thomas Bella Sr.He attended local schools graduating from SPASH in 1974. His marriage to the love of his life, Donna Liebe took place on April 24, 1976 in Stevens Point.He worked for the Stevens Point School District as the head mechanic for over 38 years until his retirement in 2014.Ron was a very kind hearted, gentle man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, polka music, his cabin in the Northwoods, the Chicago Cubs, the mighty Packers, Nascar Racing and casino runs with his wife, very special sister and brother in laws, Coz and Jerome and Diane and Keith. Most of all Ron enjoyed spending time with his family. The last two years he spent his retirement caring for the grand kids as the world's best "Manny."Survivors include his wife, Donna of Stevens Point, his mother Elizabeth Bella of Stevens Point, his son Peter (Holly) Bella and daughter Karen (Brian) Balderson who loved their father very much.His grandchildren who meant the world to him are Alexis Ott, Nolan Ott and Peter Bella Jr. Sisters Gloria (Lawrence) Elchlepp of AZ and Charlotte Schultz of Appleton. Brothers Thomas Jr (Patti) of Minocqua and Donald (Linda) of AZ.He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bella Sr.Ron was a very happy man. He was kind and caring to everyone. While he will be missed by so many, we know heaven gained another angel.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday August 14, 2017, at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis Stanchik will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Parish rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials in Ronald's name will be established at a later date.
