Ronald R. Fowler95, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 21, 2017. He was born on December 31, 1921 in Hamilton, OH to the late William and Maude Fowler. He retired from Eli Lilly in 1989 after 39 years of service. He was a life-time active member of Edgewood United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Men.Survivors include his wife of 75 years, Ethel Fern Taylor Fowler, 2 daughters, Ann Kraft Sullivan (Larry), Rita Towe (Jerry), 4 grandchildren, Pam Taylor (Doug), George Kraft IV (Olive), Jerad Towe (Kristin), Jacob Towe (Lindsey Fleming) and 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by all 5 siblings.Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Edgewood United Methodist Church, 1820 E. Epler Ave., Indianapolis, IN, with visitation one hour prior to service. He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to Edgewood United Methodist Church.
