Ronald S. Shepherd1935 - 2016Ronald S. Shepherd, 80, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Monday, April 11, 2016, at his residence.He was born on Dec. 22, 1935, to the late Omer and Carrie (Ferguson) Shepherd in Darien, Wis. He was educated in the schools of Richland Center.Ron worked at AMC/Chrysler for 30 years, retiring in 1988.Ron was a member of Apostolic Faith Church. He was also a member of UAW Local #72.Ron was a freelance photographer for NASCAR and Sprint cars, enjoyed hunting, fishing; was a hardworking man who took pride in his job and was a self-taught jack-of-all-trades. Ron was a warm, compassionate and artistic man. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.Ron is survived by his children, Tommy L. (Juanita) Shepherd of Baltimore, Md., Tammie L. (Johnny) Miller of San Tan Valley, Ariz., Tyrone L. Shepherd of Kenosha, Teira L. Higginbottom of Mesa, Ariz., Tonja L. Shepherd of Kenosha, Tracee L. Shepherd of Kenosha; his step children, Lory (Doyle) Peacock of Anna, Texas, Janis (John) Hagerty of Kenosha, Larry Steagall of Kenosha, Dawn (David) Christensen of Kenosha, and Trisha (Dan) Shepherd of Kenosha; his 30 grandchildren; his 33 great grandchildren; and his four great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his three ex-wives, Lola Frederick Shepherd, Eileen Dinges Shepherd, and Gayle Barnett Shepherd, off of Kenosha.He is preceded in death by a daughter Teri L. Shepherd; his three brothers and three sisters.Funeral Services for Ron will held on Thursday, April 14, at 6 p.m. at Apostolic Faith Church (1021 – 95th Street). Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
