Ronell Brown, 62, of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed on November 11, 2023. Ronell was born on August 24, 1961. Ronell’s first interests as a young child was collecting coins. His father Ronell Sr would bring coins home from around the world when returning from Naval deployments overseas. Ronell then found a love for playing sports. He excelled in baseball and football becoming a standout in both sports. As a young little league baseball player he once hit back to back grand slams and a double in one game achieving 9 RBI’s (Runs Batted In). In high school he participated in track and field. He was an accomplished high hurdler with multiple district championships. He once held his high school record. He also excelled in football and was awarded a football scholarship at New Mexico Military Institute and later along with his younger brother earned a scholarship at Norfolk State University.
Ronell became an independent contractor after becoming a certified Electrician, Heating / AC technician and plumber.
He leaves behind his parents Ronell and Erica Brown. His Brother Raymond and wife Peggy Brown. His sister Renaye Brown. His 3 nephews Michael, Christopher and Phillip Brown. His nieces Olivia and Hillary Brown.

i am so sad to hear of ronell passing he was a good brother and friend to me when he came home from new Mexico state he came to my house we talked and joked around he asked did i ever tried chewing tobacco i said no so he said he picked up the habit from being in new Mexico so he said try it i did i was sick for two days lol rest in peace my friend frankie
