Rosa Contreras, 53, of Baytown, Texas, passed on June 02, 2023. Rosa was born on November 16, 1969. She is survived by her devoted husband, Lucio Solis, loving children; daughters Jazmin Vasquez, Priscilla Vasquez, and Julie Contreras, son David Contreras, and an adoring father, Ruben Garza. She was predeceased by her mother, Servanda Garcia-Garza. Rosa also leaves behind her caring brothers Ruben, Carlos, Rigoberto, Rito, and Ricky Garza.

Her legacy continues with her treasured 18 grandchildren - Janesa Maldonado, Lillianna Maldonado, Orlando Montemayor, Larissa Morrison, Khloe Contreras, Jeremy Ramirez Jr., Jacob Ramirez, Leyna Hernandez, Tj Ruckett, Elijah Ruckett, Joseph Ramirez, Jade Ramirez, Nathaniel Contreras, Blu Ruckett, Bailey Ruckett, and Annmarie Avila. Rosa's son-in-law, Jeremy Ramirez, also survives her.

A viewing for Rosa will be held on June 12, 2023, at 10:00 PM at Vazquez Funeral Home. Rosa's favorite TV shows included Cops, ID, and Reelz. She was a loving person who was always lending a helping hand to everyone she could, and her personality will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Rosa's best lessons for her loved ones were to always believe in yourself, even when no one else does, and to always love your siblings. Her greatest accomplishment and pride in life were her 18 beautiful grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and could talk about all day.

Rosa leaves behind a beautiful family that will continue to honor and embrace her legacy. Her memory and teachings will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, and she will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
