Rosa Lee Bynes 81, of Delmar, Delaware, was a god- fearing woman, a loving wife, and devoted mother. She entered heaven\'s Gates on Monday, Auguest 17,2020, at Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Rosa Bennefield was born in Burke County, Georgia to the late Roxie Jones and Dreddy Bennefield on November 13, 1939, but spent most of her adult life in Delaware. She went to School at Fullwood Chapel in Burke County, Junior High School in Midville, Georgia, and attended Waynesboro High School before leaving Georgia in 1956 and moving to Florida. There, she had her first child at 18 years of age and the last at 30 years of age.
Minister Rosa was a woman of prayer whose spirituality extended beyond just attending church on Sundays. She was dedicated member of Trinity Holiness church of Frankford, Delaware, commencing under the late Bishop Arthur Dukes on January 01,1979
Rosa is survived by six sons: Willie James Bennefield(Frankie), Elbert Bynes Jr, Donnell Bynes( Beverly), Lorenzo Bynes, Antone Bennefield, and Darrell Singleterry; two loving daughters, Teresa Ann Bennefield and Rosa Ann Hooper; more then 30 grandchildren and 20+ great-grandchildren. In addition , she is survived by her two sisters, Vivian Brown and Drucilla Allen; one brother, John T Knowles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert W. Bynes; her daughters, Joyce Ann Bynes and Brenda Delores Snow;
