Rosa Lee Henson Abilene, TexasRosa Lee Henson, 66, of Abilene, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, in Carrollton, Texas. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at New Fellowship Church, 1142 Tracy Lynn St., Abilene, TX. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory Street, Abilene. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the church before the service. Rosa was born on December 26, 1946 to Willie and Corine (Strong) Collins in Santa Fe, NM. She married James Lee Henson on January 27, 1966 in Pecos, TX and they had lived in the Abilene community since 1971. Rosa was employed by Texas Instruments for a short time, and she was a Baptist.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; her sister, Clara Mae Haynes; and a brother, Willie Collins.Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Moody of Virginia Beach, VA; a granddaughter, Beverly Moody; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Meals on Wheels, P.O.
