Rosa Jones, a beloved member of the Fort Lauderdale community, passed away on April 9, 2011 at the age of 74. She was born Sylvania Ga February 19, 1937, in her late teens early 20’s she move to Ft. Lauderdale fl where she join the Holiness Church and excepted Christ into her life, shortly after married her husband Ivory E Jones they had 6 children 15 grandchildren and several grate grandchildren. Mom was dedicated member/missionary of Miracle Baptized Holiness Church, Inc.also a hard dedicated worker put her heart into everything eventually she found her calling she started off as a School bus driver working for the Broward County School Board then she later on went to work for the Broward County Bus Transportation a transit bus driver for 30 yrs she won the bus driver of the year in Florida in 1986 article was in Sun Sentinel News Paper, she was loved by so many of her passengers she picked up on her bus routes, some passengers would not ride the bus if she wasn’t in the drivers seat they loved her company that much. My mom had several skills she loved to decorating she made dozens of flowers arrangements for friends and family mom also enjoyed fixing up her house she loved a nice clean home. Mom is missed is by so many people she touched along the way.
