It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Roscoe “Bud” Register Jr on January 28, 2025. Born on May 12, 1947 in Dublin, GA, Roscoe was the son to the late Roscoe H. and Mary H. Register and preceded in death by sister Fay Mitchel. He leaves behind his children; Bryan, Stacy and Cindy Register (&spouses), siblings; Barbara Barton, Ann Tedder, Liz Ogletree, Debra Freeman and Luther Register (&spouses), 8 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces/nephews and tons of friends. 

Bud was an extraordinary man who touched anyone’s life that he came into contact with. He was a loving and devoted father, a caring and involved grandfather, and a doting, full of life great-grandfather.  He was also a proud Veteran of the U.S Marine Corps receiving an honorable discharge. 

One thing Roscoe didn’t lack was personality. You always heard him before you seen him and his laugh was purely infectious. A great listener, but an even better talker. He was humble, kind and so compassionate. 

He loved just spending time with family. Watching WWE with his grandkids or old western movies while drinking a root beer. Bud loved to be needed, he loved to help and would do anything for anyone in need.
