Rose D. (Madsen) Baker1938 - 2013Rose D. (Madsen) Baker, 75, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 at her residence with her family beside her.She was born on June 18, 1938 in St. Louis, Mo., and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Caminetti) Goe. As a young child, she moved with her family to Racine. As a teenager, she moved to Kenosha.On June 21, 1952, she was united in marriage to Ralph J. Madsen and he preceded her in death. On July 5, 1972 she was united in marriage to David Baker and he preceded her in death.For 30 years, Rose was employed with Saulk Institute in San Diego, Calif., as a caterer.She was a member of St. Matthew Episcopal Church, VFW Junker-Ball Post #1865 Ladies Auxiliary and Kenosha Women of the Moose Chapter #155. She enjoyed traveling the Continental U.S., boating in Florida and California, shopping, and visiting casinos where she loved the slots and dice.She will be remembered by her four children, Rosanne (Bob) Melis of Knoxville, Tenn., Cheryl (Dave) Caminetti of Shell Lake, Wis., Nanette (Rick) Plovanich of Kenosha and Richard (Dee) Madsen of Knoxville, Tenn.; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and her faithful canine companion, Bentley.In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Ralph J.
