In Loving Memory
IF ROSES GROW IN HEAVEN
If Roses grow in heaven Lord,
Please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother’s arms
And tell her they’re from me
Tell her that I love and miss her,
And when she turns to smile
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while
Because remembering her is easy
I do it everyday, But there’s an ache within my heart
That will never go away.
Love your son and daughter n law
Patrick and Stephanie Myers
Granny,
You have been my everything for so long.
It’s hard to see now how I’ll go on.
My heart is broken and I’m a mess
But God, God knows best.
The many lessons you’ve taught me
Will stay with me for an eternity.
The sweetest sound will always ring in your voice
“hey Reek Reek”
I will be ok though you’re at peace now
With no hurting and no sufferings as you should be
Please give my mom a big hug for me
Until the next time we meet get your rest my dear granny
Your Reek Reek
A MUCH LOVED GRANDMA
Granny, The day God called your name it broke my heart in two,
But Heaven needed an Angel and the one he picked was you.
I just wish he could have waited and let you stay with me,
But you did leave memories in my heart and that’s where they’ll
Always be. I just wish I could rewind the clock or make it turn
Real slow so I could have hugged and kissed you one more time
Before you had to go. No matter how much time will pass I’ll miss
You every day so please keep shining bright in Heaven so you can light my way each day
Love Rolisha ( Your Nique-Nique)
PRECIOUS LORD
Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn,
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
(Aunt Rose favorite song)
Love always your nieces
Nyree and Akira
WHEN AUNTIE SMILES
Auntie smiles, you smile too
Auntie smiles, delightful and true
Auntie smiles, brings family together
Auntie smiles, a big beautiful memory to treasure
Thank you for all the memories we shared with every visit
And thank you for the love you made us feel.
LOVE YOUR NIECES AND NEPHEWS
GRANDMA’S GONE TO HEAVEN
One quiet day the Angels came and took grandma far away
But in the stillness of the night I could almost hear her say
“Dear grandchild I will miss you because you mean so much to me
But Jesus called me to his side in Heaven
A place of God’s great beauty, no tears or earthly cares
Only peace and joy forever and love beyond compare.
So remember all the good times and don’t think about the sad times
Treasure all the special moments through the years we’ve always had
And if you trust in Jesus I can promise this and more that you will get a hug from
Grandma someday on Heaven’s Golden Shore” we love you and will forever
Miss you Grandma Rose.
Love Always, Your Great Grandchildren
TO OUR SISTER
Those special memories of you, will always bring a smile
If only I can have you back for a little while.
Then we could sit and talk again just like we use to do.
You always meant so very much and always will too.
The fact that you’re no longer here will always cause us pain
But you’re forever in our hearts. Until we meet again
Your Brother James Lee
&
Your sisters DeLois & Evelyn
THE DAY SHE LEFT
We watched her suffer day by day. It caused us bitter grief to see her slowly pass away
And could not give relief. Her weary hours and days of pain, her troubled nights have passed
And in our aching hearts we know she has found sweet rest at last. Its sweet to know that we
Will meet again where parting is no more and my dear wife I loved so well has only gone before. God
Knows how much I miss her and he counts the tears I shed and whispers “hush she is only sleeping
Your wife is not dead”. Someday, some time her hand I’ll clasp and never say farewell. The Pearly gates were opened and a gentle voice said “come” and with farewells unspoken she gently entered home. Her smiling face is a pleasure to recall she had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all. Some day we hope to meet her. Someday we know not when to clasp her hand in the better land and never to part again.
LOVE ALWAYS YOUR HUSBAND MACK
DEAR MAMA,
As I sit here and prepare myself to write this tribute to you, tears began to fall. If I could
Turn back the hands of time to see that beautiful smile one more time I would. If I could have one more conversation with you just to hear your voice I would. I know you’re in a much better place where your pain and hurt is no more. I can only pray to God to give me the strength to let you rest. I know you raised me to be a strong believer in God. You also raised me to be a strong independent woman.
You were hard on us but I know it was all out of love. I see that now you was one of my biggest supporter. You loved me unconditionally and I will always hold on to that love as I prepare my earthly
Life without you. Your memories I will always hold on to with all my heart and never let them go. Until we meet again in our heavenly home I love you Mama

HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be So he out his arms around you and whispered “come to me”. With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
Love Always Your Grand-Children
