TRENTON | Rosa Lee Eubanks of Plantation Road, Trenton, died peacefully on December 5, 2015 at Ayden Court Nursing Home. She was 102.  Rosa was born on October 6, 1913 in Jones County to Sally Caroline and John Robert Eubanks as well as her sister Ruth and brother Paul who both predeceased her. During her life Rosa enjoyed attending Stones Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church near her home and The First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Kinston. Among her life joys were gardening, visiting friends and sharing pecans she shelled from the trees in her yard. Her many friends and family gave her great joy as they celebrated her 100th birthday at The Folded Napkin Bistro in Kinston. Rosa is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Geraldine and Felton Eubanks of Trenton who lovingly made conditions available for her to be in her own home until her recent sickness on Thanksgiving day. She is also survived by her grandchildren Renae and her husband Lynn Banks (great-grandchildren Caroline and Collin); grandson Keith Eubanks and fiancé Ronny Thomas (Kylee) all of Trenton. The family would like to especially thank Joyce Pate for her years of special care for "Granny". Also to the staff of Lenoir Memorial Hospital and the staff of Ayden Court a special "Thank You" for your caring concern during the difficult phases. Your love and patience will forever be remembered. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening December 8 at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 711 Phillips Road, Kinston with The Reverend Brian Rogers.
