Miressi, RoseRose Miressi died peacefully on November 17, 2016 at Greenwich Woods in Greenwich, Connecticut from congestive heart failure. She was 88.Rose was born on May 18, 1928 in New York to the late Anna and Michael Cordisco. In May of 1948, Rose married the love of her life, the late Joseph (Joe) Miressi. They resided in the Bronx where they had four children, before moving to Stamford in 1974.Rose had a passion for cooking, enjoyed classic movies, and spending time with family. She was a fabulous cook and could whip up a meal effortlessly from almost nothing. She took pride in being a wonderful homemaker. In 1994, she and Joe began spending winters in Sunrise, Florida until 2011. (She was predeceased by her husband in 2012.) They enjoyed the warm weather and spending time with dear, old friends as well as the new friends they had made.Rose is survived by her four children: Louis, Robert, Donald, and daughter Regina Senno, and their spouses. She had eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Besides her husband, Rose was predeceased by her sister, Anne Maniero of Stamford, Connecticut and brother, Michael Cordisco of Sunrise, Florida.She will be greatly missed. She loved deeply and was deeply loved. "My mother taught me everything except how to live without her."
