LAKEVIEW - Rose Marie Tracey, 85, of Lakeview, OH, passed away Saturday evening, November 26, 2016 at her home.

Rose was born on January 27, 1931 in Sidney, OH, a daughter of the late Emerson and Clyda Baker Carey. She married Jack L. Tracey in May 1950 and he preceded her in death in June 2000. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Bill Tracey, Jimmy Tracey, and Jack Tracey, a brother, Gene Carey, a sister, Geneva Kirkendall and son-in-law, Robert Ackley.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Thaman of Sidney, Cathy Ackley of Springfield, a son, Terry Tracey of Lakeview, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Rose retired from Yeasel's in Lewistown after 20 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Memorial services will be 4 pm, Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main, Lakeview with visitation from 2-4.

Memorial Contributions may be given in Mrs. Tracey's name to Dayton Children's Hospital or SCARF- Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation.
