We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Rosemary Sanderson on April 30, 2024, in Pittsfield, Illinois, United States. She was born on March 8, 1953, to Clarence James and Tootsie Jane.
Rosemary is proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Gomer Rousan, and their three children: Paul Rousan (spouse Kimberly), Gomer Rousan II (spouse Nelly), and Debra Hurd (spouse Steve). She was a devoted grandmother to four grandchildren.
Rosemary later married Dane Sanderson in 2018 and shared adventures with him.
Rosemary was known for her loving nature and her dedication to her family. Rosemary enjoyed spending time at her farm in rural Troy, Missouri. She worked as a Homemaker and farmer and found joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She cherished moments with Sylvia, Helen, Rebecca, and Heather, and always had a smile on her face when they were around. Rosemary enjoyed her 11 great grandchildren as well.
Although Rosemary's passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew her, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Visitation will be May 3, at 10:30 a.m., at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at Pittsfield West Cemetery. Dinner to be served at Pleasant Hill Fair Grounds.
