Vande Burgt, Rosemary CatherineRosemary C. Vande Burgt, age 84, formerly of Little Chute, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was born on April 13, 1933, daughter of the late Isadore and Josephine (Meulemans) Verhasselt. On September 20, 1955, she married Gerald Vande Burgt at Holy Cross Church, Kaukauna. When she was younger, Rose helped raise her siblings after her mother passed away. She then became a wonderful wife and homemaker, but did work for 22 years at Tecumseh Products. Rose enjoyed traveling, flea markets and country music. She loved her family more than anything, spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. Rose is survived by her husband, Gerry Vande Burgt; children: Mike (Barb) Vande Burgt, Paul (Michelle Weyenberg) Vande Burgt and Kathy (Dan) Micke; grandchildren: Jessica (Mike) Jacobs, Julia (Jon) Miller, John (Ashley) Vande Burgt, Joseph (Mikaela Johnson) Vande Burgt, Sara Vande Burgt, Amanda (Cole) Weinke and Tyler Vande Burgt; 10 great grandchildren with one great granddaughter on the way; siblings: Jim (Marilyn) Verhasselt, Joe (Joanne) Verhasselt, Earl (Dolly) Verhasselt, Fr. Dave Verhasselt, Tom (Terri) Verhasselt, Dorothy (Ted) Vosters and Pat (Bill) Brockman; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joyce Verhasselt, Evelyn Verhasselt, Rose Seegers, Louis Bellin, Gloria (Merle) Verhagen and Duane (Shirley) Vande Burgt; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, Godchildren and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Isadore and Josephine; siblings: Len (Betty) Verhasselt, Bob Verhasselt, Betty (Rich) Van Zeeland, Agnes (Clayton) Vande Burgt and infant twins; brothers and sisters-in-law: Clarence Seegers, Virgil (Beth) Vande Burgt, Marlene Allen and Joan Bellin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna. For online condolences, please visit
