Rosemary Louise (Wray) SnodgrassMUNCIE - Rosemary Louise (Wray) Snodgrass passed away peacefully at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital on January 15, 2017 surrounded by her family, one month shy of her 90th birthday. Family and friends are comforted by the knowledge that she is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rosemary was born on February 15, 1927 in Muncie and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rosemary is a 1945 graduate of Yorktown High School. She brightened the lives of all she met, and she will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends. Over the years, she worked at the former Cinderella Shop in downtown Muncie, in the business offices of Ball Hospital, and Ross Supermarkets. She also volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels.Mrs. Snodgrass was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Snodgrass; her parents, Bert and Mary (Clouse) Wray; her infant brother, Bertie Jr.; her sister, Bertie Lou Smith and niece, Connie Smith. She is survived by her children, Shirley Goldsberry, Gerry (Tina) Snodgrass, and Jan Dixon, David (Julie) Snodgrass, Sally Taylor (Bill) and Martin (Janice) Snodgrass. She was very proud of her twenty-one grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren and twenty-three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Snodgrass is also survived by her cousin, Jack Carmichael; niece, Janet Smith, and nephew, Bert Smith.Visitation will be on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams Street in Muncie. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4800 Robinwood Drive, Muncie, IN 47304.
