Rowmain Tunnicliff Sr., age 82, of Wyalusing, Pa., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. Rowmain was born on April 10, 1934 in Sayre, Pa. He was a self-employed auto-mechanic that loved to restore older cars, especially the Model A. He was an excellent craftsman. He even hand-crafted pistols. He was also a great musician and played the guitar, banjo, and harmonica. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.Rowmain is survived by his children, Raymond Tunnicliff of Syracuse, N.Y., Wanita Tunnicliff of Troy, Pa., Mary Tunnicliff of Waverly, N.Y., Lois Tunnicliff of Barton, N.Y., James Tunnicliff of Waverly, N.Y., Steven Tunnicliff of Olean, N.Y., Steve Tunnicliff of State College, Pa., Lana Morse (Chris) of Barton, N.Y., Rowmain Tunnicliff Jr. (Mary Ann Brown) of Barton, N.Y., Albert Tunnicliff (Marie) of Nichols, N.Y., and Bert Tunnicliff (Cesil) of Nichols, N.Y. He is also survived by many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice Gann Tunnicliff, who he married in 1962; his son, Michael Tunnicliff; and six siblings.Funeral services for Rowmain will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, Pa., with the Reverend Dr. Barry Ballard of the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow at the East Herrick Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
