Roxann WilsonAsheville - Roxann (Hensley) Wilson passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Stone Creek Nursing Home in Asheville.Roxann was survived by four sons, James A. Wilson of Lodi Ca., Joel L. Wilson of Lodi Ca., Lonnie G. Wilson of Pine Grove Ca. and her very special son, Timothy Wayne Wilson of Burnsville NC. Her fifth son Ronald D. Wilson preceded her in death in 2007, and her husband James A. Wilson Sr. passed away in 1984. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nona Hensley and Ebbie Gooch, as well as two brothers, Joseph Hensley and Freemont Hensley.Roxann was born on July 28, 1925 near Sylva NC. to Ulysses and Sallie Hensley, both of the Burnsville area. She is also survived by one living brother, Gudger Hensley of Burnsville NC. and many nieces and nephews of Burnsville and the Asheville area.The family would like to express thanks and gratitude to some special people who visited, cared for and overall made her life better and fulfilled. To Darrell and Sarah Wright, to Ms. Thula Sparks, her brother Gudger Hensley and family, the staff at Stone Creek Nursing facility and a special thanks to her niece Mrs. Phyllis Olson of Greer SC, who were always there for her when she needed love and care the most.
