We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Roy Grigsby, who was born on December 14, 1962, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, United States. Roy passed away on October 31, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

Roy was the beloved son of Roy Milton Grigsby Sr and Gayetta Mae Estep. He was the loving spouse of Cathy Elam, whom he married in 1986. Together, they had two children: Jeff Elam, who is married to Jennifer, and Douglas Gmaz, who is married to Sam. Roy was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren.

Roy had a few hobbies that brought him great joy. He especially loved spending time with his two dogs, Angel and Oreo.

Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
