It is with a mix of sadness and relief that we announce the passing of Roy Evincler. Roy, born on Halloween in 2001, was quite a character. He was known for his love of soccer, his witty sense of humor, and his tendency to wear mismatched socks.
Roy was a member of the local soccer organization, where he spent most of his time on the bench. Despite his lack of skill, he always brought a positive attitude and a willingness to try his best.
Unfortunately, Roy's life was cut short by kidney cancer. It's a cruel irony that someone so young and full of life should be taken by such a terrible disease.
Roy's parents, Jose and Ahrieyen Evincler, are devastated by their loss. They remember their son as a kind-hearted and curious boy who loved nothing more than spending time with his family.
For those who knew Roy, his sense of humor will be sorely missed. He had a knack for making even the dullest of moments entertaining. In his memory, we suggest that everyone wear mismatched socks as a tribute to this wonderful young man.
Services will be held at Preston and Sons of Manassas with arrangements being made by Funeral Director Jennifer Preston.
Rest in peace, Roy Evincler. You will be missed by many.
