Roy Lewis Ford, age 55, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 22, 2019, at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was born March 10, 1963, in Cheverly, Maryland and attended Prince George’s County Public Schools. He worked   with Millennium Trash Removal as a Helper.

He was preceded in death by father Charles B. Ford Jr. and mother Palestine Ford and sister Dale E. Ford. Roy is survived by three sisters (Sharon McCoy (Mark McCoy); Brenda Ford, and Cynette Ford), two brothers (Robert Ford (Wanda Ford) and Anthony Ford (Opal Ford), aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Pope Funeral Home, 5538 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD, 20747. Viewing at 10 a.m. and funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment at the Oakcrest Community Center, 1300 Capitol Heights Blvd, Capitol Heights, MD 20743.
