Royce Lynn McMennamyRoyce Lynn McMennamy, 78, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church Sanctuary with Dr. Tim Marrow officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.A visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.Royce Lynn McMennamy was born on Jan. 12, 1938, to Roy and Eula B. Pyeatt. She graduated from Hart High School in 1955 and then graduated from Baylor University in 1959. She married Melvin McMennamy on June 11, 1960, at the First Baptist Church in Hart, Texas. They owned England Supplies and she was the owner of Creative Stitchery. They were lifelong residents of Plainview and were members at First Baptist Church in Plainview.She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin McMennamy; her parents, Roy and Eula B. Pyeatt; an infant son, Jon David McMennamy; a brother, Jon Oliver Pyeatt; one grandson, Brynn Naylor.She is survived by two daughters, D'Ann McGuire and her husband Robert of Shallowater, Texas, Deedra Bowles and her husband Gary of Longview, Texas; four grandchildren, Mica and James McGuire of Shallowater, and Brandon and Keeley Bowles of Longview.Memorials may be sent to Meals on Wheels, PO Box 1984, Plainview, TX 79072 or First Baptist Church, 205 W.
