We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ruben Rodriguez, born on December 31, 1940, in Amarillo, Texas. He peacefully left us on October 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Ruben, known to many as a devoted husband to Mary Frances Rodriguez since 1961, was a beloved father to Ruben Rodriguez Jr., John Rodriguez, Connie Reynolds & husband Robert Reynolds, and Cynthia Justus & husband Jon David Fennel. He was also a cherished grandfather to 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson.

During his lifetime, Ruben dedicated 34 years of service to Miller Radiator and 16 years to Tyson. He was known for his hard work, dedication, and friendly nature by all who worked alongside him.

Outside of work, Ruben enjoyed spending time outdoors enjoying BBQing, bonfires and making memories with his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a special way of bringing laughter and joy to those around him, making every moment together a cherished memory.

Ruben will be forever be remembered for his bright spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family & also his loving devotion to his Dallas Cowboys. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Frances Rodriguez of Amarillo, his sons Ruben Rodriguez Jr. of DFW, John Rodriguez of Austin and his daughter Cynthia Justus of Amarillo. 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, sister Catherine Miller and brother Juan "Johnny" Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Juanita Rodriguez, his sisters Minerva Rodriguez, Gloria Rodriguez, Pauline Rolens, Ramona Casillas, Maria Hughes, his daughter Connie Frances Reynolds, his grandson Lonnie R. Smith Jr. and great granddaughter Mattison H. Graves.
