Ruby Bakere Hearne, 82, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, passed on May 8th, 2023. Ruby was born on January 10, 1941 to Edward Hearne and Susie Hearne in Wilson, North Carolina. After Ruby graduated from Beddingfield High School in 1959, he went on to study engineering at University of North Carolina in Charlotte, North Carolina.
After graduating with a degree in Engineering, he started his first job at Duke Energy Corporation as a Engineer, kickstarting a 10 year career in engineering.
