Ruby K. MorganAugust 23, 1937 - April 4, 2014Soda Springs: Ruby Krusell Morgan, 76, of Soda Springs passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.Ruby was born on August 23, 1937 in Montpelier, Idaho the daughter of Otto John and Genevieve Hymas Krusell.She was raised in Montpelier and attended schools in Montpelier until she married Owen Lee Kunz in 1954, they had two daughters, Robyne & Julie. They were later divorced. She then moved to Soda Springs, Idaho and married Fredrick Willard Morgan in 1964 who had three children Gay, Debbie and Marcus. Fred and Ruby had two children, Traci and Joe. Fred passed away December 27, 1997. Ruby was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served as relief society visiting teacher, primary teacher and as scout leader.She enjoyed crafts, she loved to paint and do plastic canvas. She was a beautiful seamstress. She sewed all of her daughter's wedding dresses. Her best times were craft days with her girls and grandkids. She loved the spring and had huge Easter egg hunts for the grandkids. The whole yard would be covered with Easter eggs and toys.She is survived by one son, and four daughters, Marcus & Shelli Morgan of Arimo, ID, Robyne & Myron Stephenson of Richmond, UT, Julie Snooks & David Bagley of Soda Springs, ID, Traci and Alan Saunders of Chubbuck, ID, Debbie & Kevin Hood of Hermiston, WA and a daughter-in-law, Jolin Murphy of Soda Springs, ID. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, a sister, Norma Rogers and a brother Vic Hymas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, a son Joe Morgan, a step-daughter Gay Roubidoux, her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.Ruby was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend and will truly be missed.Services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Bailey Creek LDS Chapel (361 S. 3rd E.). The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services.
