Rudolph P. "Rudy" Herzog1932 - 2014Rudolph "Rudy" P. Herzog, 82, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Nov. 28, 2014, at St. Catherine's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.Rudy was born on Nov. 7, 1932, in Manitowoc, Wis., to Henry and Mabel Herzog. He was the youngest of six children; graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, Wis. He then served in the Army from 1952 to 1954 and was stationed in Germany.On Aug. 11, 1956, he married his sweetheart, Faye Pawlitzke of Two Rivers, Wis. They moved to Kenosha to start their new life and raise their family. His careers during this time included car salesman, insurance salesman, business entrepreneur and 18 years as a realtor at Bear Realty in Kenosha.He enjoyed spending time with his family, close friends and attending his grandchildren's school and sporting events. He and Faye were also Florida snowbirds for many years. Rudy was an avid Packers fan, NASCAR enthusiast and car buff.Surviving are his wife, Faye, daughter Tamara (Roger) McNab, son Scott (Kathy) Herzog , daughter Tracy (Tony) Larson, daughter-in-law Vickie Herzog, sister Jane Webb and brother Ralph Herzog – both from Manitowoc.He will truly be missed by his grandchildren: Adam (Vicky), Katie, and Liz McNab, Kyle and Ryan Herzog, Ashley, Kelsie, Morgan and Aaron Herzog, Tara and Tanner Larson, as well as two great-grandchildren: Kaydence and Alex.Rudy is preceded in death by his son, Steven, his parents, a brother, Clyde and two sisters: Marilyn and Arlene.Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the nurses and staff at St. Catherine's ICU unit.Funeral services for Rudy will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park with Full Military Honors. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
