Russell Denver Hall, Jr.,NEW CONCORD: Russell Denver Hall, Jr., 68, passed away in his home on Saturday, April 1, 2017. He was born on September 17, 1948 in Zanesville to Russell and Verlin Hall. Denver, loved the outdoors, and could often be found hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed bowling. He was a member of many organizations, including the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Vietnam Veterans of America, the Arbor Day Foundation, the Rifleman's Association, AAA, Fenton Glass, The North American Fishing Club, and AARP. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.Denver is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Jean Hall, whom he married September 18, 1970, his son, Christopher (Susan) Hall, and his grandchildren Juniper Rosa Lee Hall, and Cedar Everest Hall. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Sheila Hall, his cousin, Betty Jo Davis, his brother-in-law, Robert Real, and sister-in-law, Betty Alexander, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Hall, Sr. and Verlin Sharkey, and his in-Laws, Grace Real, Margie Decaro, and Joseph Real.Friends are welcome to attend Denver's Calling Hours at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Thursday, April 6 from 2-4 and 6-8. Services will be held at the funeral home on the following day, the 7th, with a Calling Hour at 10AM and services starting promptly at 11AM. Pastor Tim Pollock will officiate and burial will follow at the Bloomfield Cemetery.
