He served in the U. S. Army and retired from A. J. Metler Trucking Company.He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Moore; his loving parents, Don and Mattie Moore; and his daughter's mother, Mary Mitchell. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Mandy Guidry (Jason); his two grandsons, Michael Guidry (Samantha) and Justin Guidry; two great granddaughters, Bella and Lilly Guidry, all of Hayes, Louisiana, Also his brother, Richard Moore (Brenda); and two nephews, Ryan and Justin Moore, all of New Orleans, Louisiana.Honoring his wishes, Mr. Moore was cremated under the care of Click Funeral Home in Knoxville, Tennessee, and will be laid to rest on November 16, 2017, at Graceland Cemetery in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in a private ceremony.
