RUSSELL J. REUTNER, 75 AVON - Russell J. Reutner, 75, of Avon, Illinois died at 2:15 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2015, at Monmouth Nursing Home in Monmouth, Illinois. He was born on August 14, 1939, in Freeport, Illinois, the son of Jacob and Fern Wade Reutner. Surviving are his children, Deborah Reutner of Bristow, Iowa, Johnathan (Norma Walsh) Reutner of Avon, Illinois, and A.J. (Whitney) Reutner of Prairie City, Illinois; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his siblings, Richard (Phlynne) Reutner of Gillette, Wyoming, Charles (Jeanne) Reutner of Avon, Illinois, Nancy Reutner of Avon, Illinois, Susan (Larry) Lincoln of Davis, Illinois, Kristine Kraft of Freeport, Illinois, Joanne Wade of New Jersey, and Mae (Jonathan) Haas of England. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Wayne and Curtis, two sisters, Elvia and Sara, and one great-grandson, Marcus Walsh. He was the owner/operator of his own trucking company, Russelle Transportation. He was also a truck driver for C.R. Trucking, Bennett Trucking and P.F.T. Roberson, where he was awarded and became a member of the Million Mile Safe Drive Club. He served in the United States Army Reserves. Visitation will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, with family present from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory, Knoxville, Illinois. Rev.
