Ruth A. MolyetFOSTORIA: Ruth A. Molyet passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Fostoria, Ohio. She was born on January 14, 1936 to the late Joseph and Anna (Gabel) Poorman. Ruth was a teacher who taught English, Music, and also spent time as a Guidance Counselor. She also was a Liturgical Director in Fremont and Naples, Florida, where she directed choirs and folk groups, in addition to being an active member in both. In her later years Ruth was a homemaker for her family, while remaining active on the family farm. On January 7, 1956 she married the late Bernard Molyet. Ruth is survived by their children; Michael Molyet of Old Fort, Pamela Engelmann of Fostoria, Kimberly (Denny) Yoakum of Kansas, OH, Jeffrey (Kristi) Molyet and Gregory Molyet both of Old Fort ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by brothers Richard, Ike, Pete, Paul, and Carl and sisters Bernie and Sr. Mary Poorman, SND.Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 4-8pm at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street Fremont, OH, 43420. A Mass of Resurrection will begin at 10 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Chris Kardzis officiating.
