Ruth Ann (Pierson) HouslerRuth Ann (Pierson) Housler, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. She was born on February 8th, 1948 in Lafayette, Indiana to Freda and the late Daniel T. Pierson.Ruth graduated from Jefferson High School in 1966. On October 7, 1967 Ruth married Mark Housler and he survives.Ruth was a very caring person and she cherished all of her family deeply. Ruth was very involved with her church, Victory Christian Center and spent time with her church family by going to nursing homes singing.Surviving with the love of her life Mark is her mother Freda Pierson and Ruth's children; Jeanna Eckhart (Ed) of Lafayette and Mark C. Housler (Dyanna) of Frankfort. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Sarah Eckhart, Benjamin Eckhart, Rachel Eckhart and Jacob Housler, a brother; Tom Pierson (Cecilia), brother and sister in-laws, David Housler (Lilo), Brenda Anderson and Valerie Long (Sherry).
