Ruth Wright, of Fairfield, California, passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 96. She was born on April 11, 1928, to William Schonert and Mabel Thomas.

Ruth is preceded in death by her children, Michael and Suzanne Mattson, as well as her sisters, Mabel “Jeanie” Hockenberry and Francis Noah, and brother Eddie Schonert. Ruth is survived by her grandchildren, Angel Mattson-Parlor and Albert Perez, great grandsons, Marqwez Jones and Jalano Jackson, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was known for her passion for Sudoku, painting, and sharing wine.

Although she will be greatly missed, Ruth's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She left behind a legacy of love and laughter, and her spirit will be cherished forever.

Ruth Wright may have passed away from natural causes, but her memory will continue to bring light and joy to those who remember her.
